London Stock Photos (NEW!)

Hello everyone!

I hope you've noticed the new menu tab on my website, "Stock Imagery." It's a shortcut to something exciting that I'm about to announce!

Introducing the London Stock Photos website, an image bank dedicated to Greater London. This has been a long-term project that I've been planning and working on for quite a while, and I'm thrilled to say that it's now up and running. What you'll find on the website is the culmination of 15 years of hard work, capturing the streets and landscapes of London, and documenting every detail I encountered along the way.

To make it convenient for photo buyers, I've organized the entire stock by London postcodes. You can easily narrow down your search using keywords such as "SW1 + Restaurant" or "NW1 + (street name)." Additionally, I plan to add new postcodes or expand existing ones with more images on a weekly basis.

All images are licensed for editorial usage as standard. However, upon request, some images that don't require model or property releases can be licensed for commercial usage.

I've used the best cameras available at the time to produce these images, and each one has been carefully processed and curated to offer the highest image quality possible. All images are royalty-free, and you can purchase and download them in just a few clicks. Oh, and they can also be ordered as prints!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Hi all,

I’m really excited to share and recommend to all of you interested in start doing microstock photography to read this very useful book written by a dear friend and great professional, Alexandre Rotenberg.

This highly illustrative Brutally Honest Guide tells it how it is!

To ‘make it’ as a freelance Microstock photographer takes a hell of a lot of technical talent, effort and commercial awareness. If you possess these qualities, submitting stock photos presents an opportunity to earn some extra cash for images that might otherwise be gathering digital dust. Businesses desperately need high quality and cost-effective stock images to persuade consumers to purchase their products and/or services.

Alexandre Rotenberg is a travel photographer and has been submitting travel stock photos to various agencies since 2012. He tells his story from the frustration of earning practically nothing to running his own stock photography small business which generates him a tidy sum every month that he uses to travel and upgrade his equipment.

Alex provides you with the necessary technical and commercial/editorial advice to succeed, while at the same time teaching you how to manage your expectations. This is not a ‘get rich quick scheme’, so he’s included an insightful case-study of an ‘average contributor’ who submits over a three-year period.

What's more, you get an overview of the 'ins and outs' of submitting your images to various agencies so that you can decide which agencies you should target. He also includes advice as to how to submit your images outside of Microstock to obtain the maximum amount of royalties from your premium images.
