Professional Background

I am a highly regarded architectural and aerial photographer, recognised for a fresh, contemporary aesthetic and a consistent, reliable approach to project delivery. Combining high-quality creativity with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset, I work closely with clients to understand the brief, define clear objectives, and deliver imagery aligned with the wider narrative of each project.

Early Influences and Education

My professional foundation is deeply rooted in discipline and rigour learned at home. My father is one of Brazil’s most respected aerial and industrial photographers, and my mother is a well-established architect. Growing up immersed in prints, drawings, and architectural discussions around form, function, beauty, and utility, I was introduced early to the visual and conceptual language of the built environment. Assisting my father throughout my teenage years, I developed a natural affinity for architecture and interiors — a path that ultimately led me to explore major urban centres and relocate to London, where I established full-time residency.

Professional Development in London

Shortly after arriving in London, I joined a prestigious property marketing and design studio as an in-house photographer. This experience proved formative, refining my technical workflow while offering invaluable insight into brand-led design processes. Working closely with creative directors and marketing teams, I quickly understood the strategic role photography plays within a broader commercial narrative. I became instrumental in establishing photography as a key USP of the studio, delivering high-quality work under extremely tight deadlines.

Independent Practice and Approach

Since going freelance in 2012, I have continued to document ambitious architectural, commercial, and urban projects with a clear documentary approach. My work focuses on accurately revealing form, materiality, scale, and spatial relationships — producing imagery that serves both immediate marketing needs and long-term professional documentation. I am meticulous in preparation, frequently visiting sites in advance to understand light, context, and circulation, and I am known for a practical, solution-driven approach on site.

Process and Technical Approach

My training in traditional analogue photography instilled an exacting discipline that continues to shape my process today. I place strong emphasis on reading a space correctly, resolving composition in situ, and maintaining visual integrity from capture through to delivery. Post-production is approached with restraint, used only to refine rather than reinterpret the original scene.

Selected Projects and Recognition

This precise, crisp visual language has resonated with clients who share the same belief: that details matter. I have photographed a wide range of landmark projects — from large-scale commercial developments to more intimate architectural commissions — always applying the same level of care and consistency. Notable works include projects at Madame Tussauds, the Barbican, and La Défense in Paris.

Clients and Publications

My client base includes RSHP, Aberdeen Standard, JLL, Maybourne Hotel Group, Sutton Young, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Frasers Group, and Fereday Pollard Architects. My work has been featured in publications including Digital SLR Magazine, Photography Monthly, Professional Photographer Magazine, London Property Magazine, Digital Photographer Magazine, and Fotografe Melhor.

Personal Projects

Alongside commissioned work, I develop personal photographic projects and operate parallel ventures, including my curated image bank London Stock Photos and my fine art printing studio, Image Print Centre. Outside of photography, I dedicate my time to my two daughters, valuing curiosity, play, and the responsibility of teaching them how to become thoughtful human beings.

In recognition of my work, I was named One to Watch by Adorama.
